What is answer engine optimization?
Answer engine optimization is the work of getting a business cited in the answers that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and similar tools give, rather than only ranked in a list of links. It relies on the same crawlable, well-structured pages as SEO, but rewards pages that answer a question directly and mark up that answer so a model can lift and attribute it.
How is AEO Autopilot different from hiring a writer?
